The other structures of the Taj Mahal such as minarets, mosques and gateways got completed in 10 years.

There were more than 1000 elephants that were kept for transporting the construction materials. The construction of this beautiful monument started in the year 1632 and completed in the year 1648. The construction of gardens took about 5 years.
