BBC and NATO Violate Human Rights, Commit War Crimes

Christof Lehmann (nsnbc) : On 3 March, BBC published an article, claiming Russian troops has surrounded and seized a Ukrainian air base in Crimea, that Russian troops had been deployed to the Ukraine. With Europe, regressing into the most severe and dangerous crisis for decades, it is time to recall that propaganda is a serious crime and for very good reasons.

Throughout core NATO member states, all mainstream media disseminate false reports while largely omitting that fact that top-EU officials and NATO member governments have covered up premeditated mass murder committed by members of the Western-backed and installed, new, regime in Kiev.

On Monday, 3 March, the BBC’s World Affairs Editor John Simpson, writes:

”Without, apparently, a shot being fired, Russia has taken control of the Crimean peninsula” In the same article the BBC reports:

BBC’s Mark Lowen, in Sevastopol, says Crimea is now under de facto Russian armed control although no shots have been fired. Two large Ukrainian military bases are surrounded and key installations like airports are occupied. Thousands of newly arrived Russian elite troops far outnumber Ukraine’s military presence, our correspondent says, with roadblocks cutting off Crimea. Ukrainian border guards have reported a build-up of armored vehicles on the Russian side of the sea channel dividing Russia and Crimea.

Meanwhile, the truth is that no additional Russian troops have been deployed anywhere in the Ukraine. Russia maintains a force of 16.000 troops in the Ukraine on long-term contracts which allow the presence of 25.000 troops.

Since the BBC’s and similar reports have been proven to be fabrications, the Western “propaganda machine” has now begun focusing on “the mysterious troops without insignia”, alleging that there are “Russian troops” or Russian special forces”.

One of the largest Danish newspapers used the better part of an entire front page on the fabrication. As demonstrated in a recent article, such “fabrications” are being perpetrated systematically, to manufacture consent for illegal policies among NATO member state’s populations.

Meanwhile, the same media are neglecting their obligation to “report” about crimes, committed by the governments of their respective countries or unions.

Evidence that proves, that top-EU diplomat Catherine Ashton and Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Paet knew about the involvement of members of the post coup Kiev government in premeditated mass murder is either systematically omitted or misrepresented.

Evidence that proves, that US State Department’s Victoria Nuland and US Ambassador to the Ukraine, Geoffrey Pratt were involved in preparing “regime change” in a sovereign country could not be covered up, so the evidence was systematically misrepresented.

Willful fabrications and misrepresentations are not coincidental phenomena, caused by overly zealous journalists and editors who want to appease their respective government. Although, already that would be a good reason to not ever watch BBC or CNN again or to finance willful disinformation by buying a Wall Street Journal, New York Times and similar outlets.

Why pay for for outright lies? But the problem is worse than journalists, editors and producers being presstitutes. In fact, I was reluctant to use the word presstitute, because I have greater respect for an honest prostitute than for any presstitute.

The problem is systemic. Contemporary NATO military doctrine dictates that absolute image control is an essential element of modern warfare. If you are a citizen of a NATO member state and your government has decided to wage a war, however legitimate or illegitimate it is, YOU will be targeted because your consent is essential.

For the time being, YOU are being targeted so that you will know as little as possible about your government’s coverup of premeditated mass murder by members of the NATO-endorsed and installed, new, government in Kiev, while you are made to believe fabrications about a “Russian Invasion”.

It is extremely noteworthy that this new government, the day after it seized power over the parliament, with masked gunmen, discussed adopting laws to prohibit Russian media because of their “biased reporting”.

Would such a thing occur when a country is being targeted by core NATO member states? The answer is yes.

Recall that the Arab League, supported by the British, US, French and other governments, pressured the blocking of Syrian radio and TV channels from the Arabsat and Nilesat satellites at a time when about 23.000 Libyan fighters, operating in liaison with US special forces in the Jordanian border town Al-Mafraq, were preparing to launch a campaign from Jordanian territory in 2012.

Is BBC’s and NATO’s Propaganda Illegal? Or is it just bad taste and unethical journalism? The answer is, the BBC and NATO violate Human Rights and Commit War Crimes.

The blocking of media signals, the oppression of truthful reporting and the willful spreading of disinformation violate, among other, Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The BBC and NATO also violate UN General Assembly Resolutions 110, 381 and 819. Resolutions 110, 381 and 819 are regulating the erection of obstacles to the free exchange of information and ideas as well as propaganda.

It is especially thought provoking that these resolutions have been adopted after the WWII period and that they are especially pertaining warfare. It is also noteworthy that it was especially NAZI Germany and NAZI propaganda that were the main motivating factors behind the adoption of these resolutions, recognizing that the systematic dehumanization of the enemy aggravated war crimes and that masses were manipulated into demanding war.

NATOThe most thought provoking fact, however, is that the fascist and corporatist philosophy never was defeated. Today, we witness its strongest manifestations in the United States, the European Union and NATO as well as in international Zionism and Israel.

The most disturbing fact is that the BBC, today, is selling NAZI mass murderers as “fledgeling democratic government”  to the masses while making the masses believe in imaginary Russian invasions.

How could Hitler make the masses cheer for a total war? A war, more total and more radical than any other war before?

Ask NATO. Ask the BBC. If you are watching, listening, reading to any of the mainstream media in NATO member states today, there is a great chance that you will demand a total war tomorrow.
