DON’T BE ‘COGNITIVELY INFILTRATED’: WIKILEAKS IS WAR AGAINST YOUR MIND
“Those who stand for nothing will fall for anything”
- Alexander Hamilton
By Kris McLavelli -The millennial generation–my generation–is an optimistic one. Due to our widespread engagement in video games, movies, and TV–all mediums that explore the distant possibilities of science and technology–our imagination is limitless. For any assessment of Western civilization, this optimism is much welcomed. The preceding generation has unfortunately been influenced by the pervading doctrine of Malthusianism, and discredited notions of “limits to growth. ” These mentalities of scarcity automatically entail pessimism and irrationalism. In fact, the Malthusian doctrine is incompatable with Western civilization itself (much less any civilization). According to eminent historian Carroll Quigley of Georgetown University, author of Tragedy and Hope, Western civilization is defined as “optimistic, moderate, hierarchical, democratic, individualistic yet social, and dynamic.” It holds that the “greatest good lies in the future.” The pervasiveness of the Malthusian mentality of scarcity against the forward-looking progressiveneness of traditional Western civilization, is indicative of this civilization’s decline. It’s not hard to see. Our optimism is needed.
Aside from our much needed optimism, there is another characteristic of our generation, one that has sinister potenialities–nihilism–the belief in nothing. This nihilism is what the sociopaths the dying “New World Order” want to target and exploit. As Alexander Hamilton understood, ” if you stand for nothing you’ll fall for anything.” A Notre Dame sociologist Christian Smith led a research project on the moral lives of America’s youth. It interviewed 230 young people. According to the New York Times, “the results are depressing. ” When asked about moral issues, they provided rambling answers which were irrelevant or didn’t answer the question at all. As one answer summed it up: “I mean, I guess what makes something right is how I feel about it. But different people feel different ways, so I couldn’t speak on behalf of anyone else as to what’s right and wrong.” Everything depends on how you feel–and nothing else. This is nihilism. Feelings are tempetsuous and can change at a moments notice depending on a given situation. Thus, without firm principles or beliefs, we can easily be led as sheep. The technocrats of the oligarchy know this.
Enter wikileaks. The widely publicized wikileaks phenomenon–with its inherent anti-establishment charade–is a gambit that plays on the Millenial generation’s nihilism. Wikileaks and Julian Assange are NOT a genuine attempt to undermine the “New World Order” establishment–quite the contrary. Wittingly or unwittingly, wikileaks SERVES the interests of the bankrupt Anglo-American establishment.
TARPLEY: WIKILEAKS=CIA LIMITED HANGOUT, ASSANGE=DARLING OF ESTABLISHMENT
The first to underscore this fundamental reality was geopolitical analyst Webster G. Tarpley. He trenchantly argues:
Wikileaks and its impaired boss represent a classic form of limited hangout or self-exposure, a kind of lurid striptease in which the front organization releases doctored and pre-selected materials provided by the intelligence agency with the intent of harming, not the CIA, nor the UK, nor the Israelis, but rather such classic CIA enemies’ list figures as Putin, Berlusconi, Karzai, Qaddafi, Rodriguez de Kirchner, etc.
As Tarpley put it the anti-establishment charade of “Wikileaks and Assange, has captured the imagination of a new generation of young nihilists across the globe.” Wikileaks released a video of a US war crime in Iraq. While very graphic, it covered a widely known incident. Evidence also points that this information was white washed. This type of exposure wikileaks performed against the US is best described as limited hangout. This is when an intelligency agency releases previously secret information for the purpose of deception. Its purpose is to prevent a greater exposure of what is being released in more important details. Instead of getting the full picture–you get selected information, or perhaps wholely falsified information.
Wikileaks provides no damaging infromation against any US public official. No one has been forced to resign. There were no notable scandals involving the UK or Israel. No US public figures have had to resign because of anything Wikileaks has done. This video says it all:
, as Alec Ross frames it, wikileaks shows US diplomats in a positive light. It revealed “massive right-doing by American diplomats.” “There is nothing to recover from,” he remarks.
Let us also consider wikileaks released no significant information on 9/11, one of the most contentious and widely debated issues in America and in the world. Polls indicated that in New York City 49 percent of residents and 41 percent of New York state residents believe individuals within the US government “knew in advance that attacks were planned on or around September 11, 2001, and that they consciously failed to act.” Results of a 2007 August poll indicated 51% of Americans wanted Congress to probe Bush and Cheney regarding the 9/11 attacks and over 30% of those polled seek immediate impeachment. In China 56% of people say they “don’t know” who was behind the attacks, while 30% in Mexico attribute it to the US government. So where does Julian Assange stand on this controversial issue?
Assange: “I’m constantly annoyed that people are distracted by false conspiracies such as 9/11, when all around we provide evidence of real conspiracies, for war or mass financial fraud.”
He’s ‘annoyed’ by it.
As researcher William Engdhal also points out Assange is the darling of the establishment, affording him celebrity status. Engdhal points to the tremendous cooperation of publications such as the New York Times with Assange:
He selects as exclusive newspapers to decide what is to be leaked the New York Times which did such service in promoting faked propaganda against Saddam that led to the Iraqi war, the London Guardian and Der Spiegel. Assange claims he had no time to sift through so many pages so handed them to the trusted editors of the establishment media for them to decide what should be released. Very “anti-establishment” that. The New York Times even assigned one of its top people, David E. Sanger, to control the release of the Wikileaks material. Sanger is no establishment outsider. He sits as a member of the elite Council on Foreign Relations as well as the Aspen Institute Strategy Group together with the likes of Condi Rice, former Defense Secretary William Perry, former CIA head John Deutch, former State Department Deputy Secretary and now World Bank head Robert Zoellick among others.
We must wonder why the US government–which would convict “a ham sandwich,” as Tarpely puts it– has not taken vigorous steps to arrest or significantly undermine Assange.
WIKILEAKS ATTACKS THE CIA’S ENEMIES
The biggest indicator that wikileaks is a US limited hangout operation is that while it pretends to undermine the US, its selected information is really damaging for the CIA’s enemies:
–The Prime Minister of Iraq Maliki–who is pro-Iranian–was attacked in the wikileaks dumps. The US prefers their puppet Allawi, who would be less in Iran’s orbit.
–Russian Prime Minister Putin was attacked. Putin, obviously an ememy of the CIA, is no freind to Washington or London.
–Italian Prime Minister Berlusconi was attacked. This is because of the Russian-Italian strategic alliance, with projects such as the South Stream pipeline that undercuts the US backed Nabucco pipeline. It also provides Russia a window into the rest of Europe, as Putin put it. Indeed, the cables revealed in Berlesconi’s escapades he recieved furniture from Putin.
–President Karzai of Afghanistan was undermined. Although he was a handpicked US vassal, he began to slip away from the West.
–Recently Pakistan was attacked which the US and CIA has a latent war against with predator drone bombing and CIA agents running wild.
There were also other Anglosaxon vassals who were undermined, but this was to keep them off balance and more dependent. The Saudis were also targeted, but they have repeatedly threatened to dump the US alliance. It is also important to underscore that wikileaks played a role in preparing the CIA’s fake “Arab Spring.” The “Jasmine Revolution” in Tunisia published State Department cables about the luxurious lifestyle of the Ben Ali family, undermining his credibility and leading to the downfall of the regime.
Zbigniew Brzezinksi, a prominent figure of the Anglo-American establishment who helped found the elite Trilateral comission (among other things…) highlights how the information of wikileaks is “suprisingly pointed.” Brzezinski–who is a leading establishment figure–is able to speak with a candor that some might be hesitant to. ”The real issue is, who is feeding Wikipedia on this issue — Wiki — Wiki — WikiLeaks on this issue? They’re getting a lot of information which seems trivial, inconsequential, but some of it seems surprisingly pointed,” he remarked.
He continues that wikileaks’s “pointed” information has a political component: “The very pointed references to Arab leaders could have as their objective undermining their political credibility at home, because this kind of public identification of their hostility towards Iran could actually play against them at home.“
He also questions if intelligence services are feeding it information:
“It’s not a question of worry. It’s, rather, a question of whether WikiLeaks are being manipulated by interested parties that want to either complicate our relationship with other governments or want to undermine some governments, because some of these items that are being emphasized and have surfaced are very pointed.
And I wonder whether, in fact, there aren’t some operations internationally, intelligence services, that are feeding stuff to WikiLeaks, because it is a unique opportunity to embarrass us, to embarrass our position, but also to undermine our relations with particular governments.“
He concluded, “it may be getting stuff at the same time from interested intelligence parties who want to manipulate the process and achieve certain very specific objectives.“
This raises the question of how much intelligence agencies such as the CIA, MI-6, DGSE or others are competing to disseminate information via wikileaks.
WIKILEAKS: AN OPERATION FROM OBAMA’S INFORMATION REGULATION ‘CZAR’
The use of wikileaks in the present context points to figures of the Obama White House. It was founded in 2006 and loaded with Chinese dissidents with connections to foundations of international financial speculator George Soros. As Tarpley notes, “Interestingly, the first big publicity breakthrough for Wikileaks in the mainstream US media was provided by an infamous totalitarian liberal today ensconced in the Obama White House – none other than Cass Sunstein.” Sunstein wrote an Op-Ed in the Washington Post touting wikileaks called “Brave new Wikiworld.” In it he writes “Wikileaks.org, founded by dissidents in China and other nations, plans to post secret government documents and to protect them from censorship with coded software.” Thus, Sunstein was present at the creation of wikileaks.
Today Sunstein is enconsced in Washington D.C as “White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs,” Obama’s info regulation ‘Czar.’
Sunstein wrote a Harvard Law School Working Paper in January 2008: “Conspiracy Theories.” Here he called for the US government to “deploy groups of covert operatives and pseudo-independent agents of influence for the “cognitively infiltration of extremist groups” – meaning organizations, activists and Internet websites who espouse beliefs which Sunstein chooses to classify as “false conspiracy theories.”
Wikileaks is plainly the “cognitive infiltration” demanded by Sunstein of the Obama White House. It serves as a counter-insuregency against those deemed “conspiracy theorists.” The internet has served as a forum that has awaken a lot of people to the manichantions of the “New World Order.” The mainstream media is losing credibility with organizations such as CNN massively losing viewers. The questioning masses are turning more to the alternative media of the internet. A purpose of Assange’s operation is to co-opt and capture the imagination of these people.
NEW ASSAULT AGAINST THE SYRIAN ARAB REPUBLIC GOVERNMENT
In recent weeks the wikileaks operation plans to release documents on Syria to select media organizations. These organizations are now cognitively infiltrated. It claims that it will be compromising for both the Syrian government and opposition. This is bait. The information is likely to be more damaging against the SAR government who is defending itself from an externally driven “revolution.” Don’t fall for it. Any honest observer knows that the main problem in Syria is the presence of rebel bandits and “death-squads” who terrorize and kill all who oppose them.
Syrian investigative journalist Rafiq Latouf, who exposed Western asset “Syrian Danny” as a liar, has already called into question the wikileaks operation and its CIA connections.
The lure of ‘secret’ information is tempting, but don’t fall for it–don’t become cognitively infiltrated. Wikileaks is just one more gambit in the war against the nation-state.
