Arabsat and Nilesat close for Syrian TV signals.
Earlier this week the Arab League addressed the satellite broadcasting corporations Arabsat and Nilesat to shut down Syrian TV signals. Both corporations complied with the Arab league´s request, which thus severely limits Syria´s possibilities to report about the situation inside the country as well as the international political factors related to the NATO/GCC-led undeclared war that is waged against the country.
Both the Syrian government as well as the Arab Association of journalists has complained against Arabsat and Nilesat closure for Syrian TV signals, declaring the action a breech of media ethics.
The transgression is most likely part of an attempt to gain absolute image control, which is part of NATO military doctrine, and constitutes a further aggravation of the war, and a further preparation to convincing the Western and Arab public about the necessity to wage another NATO-led “humanitarian war”.
