U.S. imposes new Sanctions against Syria while training and arming Terrorists.

While U.S. and NATO Special Forces are training and arming Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda mercenaries in Turkey and inside Syria, the U.S. implements further sanctions against Syria. The U.S. sanctions are one further step in the escalation of the conflict and an attempt to isolate Syria and western peace activists, while exploding the country from within. In the beginning of the public protests in Syria, President Basher Al-Assad invited leading pro-reform activists for a meeting, establishing a dialog for reform.  When the answer to his question what the activists wanted was “we want a revolution “, his reply reportedly was “  Ok, let us have make a revolution “.  A sound and much needed dialog was initiated, and both President Assad and the Baath Party suggested reforms that by far surpassed the initial demands and suggestions of the reformist activists. This productive dialog took place against the backdrop of the U.S.A. and NATO arming and training Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda mercenaries in Turkey, and against NATO Special Operations Units, together with terrorists infiltrating peaceful demonstrations. In his speech to the Parliarment, President Assad also indicated strongly, that the Syrian security services are aware of strong subversive activities by Israel and Mossad.

Muslim Brotherhood Rebels at Jisr al Choghour

Agent provocateurs opened fire against police and security forces from behind the peaceful demonstrators, and the reform process was highjacked by NATO´s dangerous imperial ambitions and armed terrorist gangs. Since the initial provocations, there have been regular fights with security forces on a regular basis. In one incident an attack on a police station resulted in over fifty murdered policeofficers.

Western corporate media sent numerous false reports, preparing NATO countries populations for yet another “humanitarian war”, and scaring and confusing the Syrian public. One of these false reports is, that Syrian Navy gunships should have opened fire on a residential area. A forensic investigation however provided evidence that no marine vessels had been in the area on the day the incidence reportedly took place, and that the massive ammount of bullet holes in buildings of the residential area were almost exclusively fired from the landside, and by NATO backed terrorist sqads. Other reports stated that Syrian security forces had horded thousands into a sports stadion, and indicated a massacre on civilians. The truth was, that the Syrian security forces had offered civilians a safe haven in an area where heavy fighting between security forces and NATO backed terrorists took place.

Sanctions

It is against this backdrop of subversion, armed attacks, and massive warpropaganda, that the U.S.A. yesterday implemented further sanctions against Syria, effectively isolating it diplomaticly. Employees and representatives of the U.S.A. are thus no longer allowed contact to hundreds of important government officials, and almost all economic, financial, or other transactions between Syria and the U.S.A. are prohibited.

A White House spokesperson justified the sanctions against among other Dr. Bouthania Shaaban, because ” She speaks on behalf of the Syrian Government”, against Dr. Walleed Al Mul´alleem, because he stated “There is a plot against Syria”, and against the Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon, because “he sends reports to the Syrian Government”. A citizen of Syria asked ironically, if the U.S. will lift the sanctions if Dr. Shaaban speaks for the U.S. government insteat, if Dr. Mul´alleem sais Syria plots against the U.S.A., and if the Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon sends his reports directly to the CIA. The implementation of the sanctions, besides the armed aggression, confirms our previous reports, that the US and NATO are committed to open conflict with Syria; a conflict that will have grave global consequences.

Backchannel Diplomacy is often the last resort to avoiding outright war when formal diplomatic channels have broken down. This approach could have prevented the Iraq war, had Cheney, Bush, Powell et al. been willing to listen to intelligence rather than falsifying it, and to imprison the messenger, like in the case of peace activist and CIA asset Susan Lindauer. Reports on Al-Jazeera, where Senator Kucinic, who is a lifelong agonist for peace is positioned as traitor or criminal for having had contact to Muammar Ghadafi at the onset of the “Arab Spring” in Libya. This indicated that the corporate media have gotten talking points that clearly discourage anyone who wants to prevent yet another illegal aggression, further bloodshead and suffering, and yet another imperial adventure that could develop into a graeter regional or global conflict.
